HSK TEST

HOW MANY PARTS DOES THE HSK CONSIST OF?

The HSK exam is divided into 2 parts, thewritten test which includes writing, reading and listening; and the HSKK 口语 kou yu speaking test.

There are 6 levels of HSK exams. The higher the level, the more sophisticated the vocabulary needed to complete the level.

In addition, the HSKK exam is divided into 3 levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. The speaking examination tests participants are evaluated on their ability to speak with eloquence, and their  tone clarity. The test format includes picture description, reading, repeat sentences and an interview session.

HOW LONG IS THE HSK CERTIFICATE VALID FOR?

The HSK exam certificate is valid for 2 years.

WHAT IS HSK CERTIFICATION USED FOR?

Taking the HSK exam offers the same benefits as the TOEFL / IELTS English language exams, such as demonstrating to universities and institutions of higher learning that you have mastered the  Mandarin language. The certificates earned can be used in China to apply for scholarships at top universities as well as to apply for jobs in international companies.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE HSK EXAM HELD?

HSK and HSKK exams are held several times a year in major cities in Indonesia simultaneously. This year, CHIS School Bali will hold HSK online examinations on 21 March 2020. The registration will close on  6 March 2020.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO TAKE THE HSK EXAM?

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE HSK EXAM?

1. To register, fill out the registration form (download below)

 

2. Provide 1 copy of your identity card. Identity cards that can be used are as follows: passport, ID card, student ID or birth certificate. During the day of the examination, the participant MUST bring the original identity card that is stated at the time of registration.

 

3. Level 3, 4, 5 and 6 HSK exam participants MUST send a soft copy of 3x4cm photo with white background, scan opting 200dpi resolution, with file format .jpg and the file must not exceed 100kb. The file must be sent to tang.ying.min@sekolahchis.com with email subject and file name FULL NAME + EXAM LEVEL (example: BUDI SANTOSO HSK5) .

 

4. Payment of exam fee and registration form must be submitted along with a photocopy of the identity card to CHIS School before 6 March 2020 at 15.00 (Bali time).

 

 

WHAT IS THE HSK TEST?

HSK Test (Han yu shui ping kao shi 汉语水平考试)is a standardized Mandarin language test that is universally recognized for non-native speakers such as international students. This exam has been held in 120 countries and is highly utilized by students and working adults to expand their knowledge base and offer more career opportunites
